13. Third-Party Payments and Unauthorized Transactions

PingNepal may provide users with the option to make payments through third-party payment providers, including PayPal, credit card, debit card, banks, and other authorized payment service providers.

Payment Information

PingNepal does not collect, store, access, or have control over users' payment credentials or sensitive payment information submitted directly to third-party payment providers. This includes, but is not limited to:

• PayPal account credentials or passwords;
• Credit card and debit card numbers;
• CVV/CVC or other card security codes;
• Bank account credentials;
• Payment-provider authentication credentials; and
• Other sensitive payment information submitted directly to the applicable third-party payment provider.

When a user initiates a payment, the user may be redirected to or interact directly with the applicable third-party payment provider. The payment provider is responsible for processing, authenticating, and authorizing the payment.

PingNepal does not have access to or control over the payment information entered by the user on the third-party payment provider's platform.

Unauthorized Transactions

If a user believes that a payment was made without their authorization, the user should immediately contact the relevant payment provider, such as PayPal, their bank, or their credit/debit card issuer, and report the transaction as unauthorized.

Because PingNepal does not collect, store, access, or control the user's third-party payment credentials, PingNepal cannot independently authenticate or determine whether the user personally authorized a payment made through a third-party payment provider.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PingNepal shall not be responsible or liable for unauthorized use of a user's PayPal account, credit card, debit card, bank account, or other third-party payment account or payment instrument where such unauthorized use occurs through or is attributable to the third-party payment provider or the user's payment credentials.

Any investigation, authentication, reversal, chargeback, or dispute relating to the unauthorized use of a third-party payment account or payment instrument may need to be handled directly with the applicable payment provider.

PingNepal may, however, cooperate with the relevant payment provider or other authorized parties and provide transaction-related information available to PingNepal where reasonably required for an investigation, fraud prevention, dispute, chargeback, or legal requirement.

Users remain responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their payment accounts, credentials, authentication information, and payment instruments.
